# Figure 03 humanoid walked 560 km in nine days on a treadmill, according to Figure AI's CEO

> Figure AI put its humanoid through a nine-day endurance test, which its CEO announced on X, German site heise online reports.

According to Brett Adcock, CEO of Figure AI, the robot walked on a treadmill apparently without interruption. It covered 348 miles, or about 560 km, in 1.2 million steps.

The treadmill was an ordinary gym model. To keep the power supply uninterrupted, Figure AI's engineers connected the robot by cable to an external power source.

According to Brett Adcock, the test began as a side project. It aimed to push the robot to its limits to find the faults that appear during prolonged use.

This is not the first endurance test of this model. In May, Figure AI had already had three Figure 03 units sort parcels on a line for eight days, without interruption.
