# JD.com wants its delivery drivers to repair robots, with more than a hundred thousand jobs targeted in 5 years

> Chinese group JD.com has set out its plan for maintaining and repairing robots, Leiphone reports, citing the outlet Kuai Keji.

JD.com plans to train some of its logistics staff, starting with delivery drivers, as robot maintenance technicians. According to the group, the retraining will combine structured training with practice in the field.

Over 5 years, the company says it wants to create more than a hundred thousand jobs for robot repairers and build a maintenance network covering the whole world.
