# Roomba Plus 515 Combo vs SwitchBot K20+ Pro: price, mapping, LiDAR and voice assistants compared

According to iRobot (irobot.com, accessed 2 October 2026), the usual advertised price of the [Roomba Plus 515 Combo](/robots/irobot-roomba-plus-515-combo) is $699.99 in the US market, before a limited-time discount, as a bundle with the AutoWash dock. On SwitchBot's US site, the [K20+ Pro](/robots/switchbot-k20-pro) is listed at $699.99 for the US version (accessed 2 October 2026) and $739.98 for the K20+ Pro Patrol Kit, which pairs the robot with a PTC 3MP (accessed 2 October 2026). On SwitchBot's European site (accessed 9 October 2026), the Air Flow Kit, which bundles the K20+ Pro with a battery circulator fan, is listed at €729.98. Dollars and euros belong to different markets and cannot be compared, nor can bundles with different contents.

## Mapping

According to iRobot (US market, accessed 2 October 2026), the Roomba Plus 515 Combo maps by LiDAR: "ClearView™ LiDAR scans your home to create up to 3 maps". SwitchBot's site states that the K20+ Pro maps by LiDAR and that it "creates a high-precision map of your home" (accessed 2 October 2026). The SwitchBot sentence quoted here gives no number of maps.

## Voice assistants

## LiDAR

iRobot writes that the Roomba Plus 515 Combo "Navigates with ClearView™ LiDAR", according to its US site accessed on 2 October 2026. SwitchBot mentions a "DTOF Laser Radar" for the K20+ Pro (accessed 2 October 2026), which the manufacturer presents as LiDAR.
