# Roborock's Saros 10R removes its own mop pads to keep your rugs dry

> The Saros 10R is a robot that vacuums and mops floors, made by Roborock, which presents it on its official page as the slimmest of its models.

The robot can detach its mopping pads. According to Roborock, it removes them before vacuuming only or cleaning a rug, so that anything meant to stay dry is not wet.

To avoid obstacles and small objects on the floor, it combines 3D sensors, which outline obstacles, with a colour camera that identifies them, according to the manufacturer.

Its chassis can lift as a whole, or just at the front, the rear, the left side or the right side, to get out of difficult spots in the home. Roborock says it can cross thresholds of up to 4 cm this way.

On privacy, the manufacturer says the robot stores no images.

The charging station also empties the dust bin. According to Roborock, it allows up to 70 days without emptying it by hand.
