> Chinese company Pudu Robotics presents the PUDU D7 as a semi-humanoid robot for factories and warehouses.

According to Pudu Robotics, the D7 removes, replaces and recharges its batteries without human intervention. The manufacturer says this lets it work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Its head is inspired by hard hats. According to Pudu, gradient diamond patterns there strengthen safety recognition and give it a futuristic look.

The company, based in Shenzhen, says it has delivered more than 130,000 robots, with a presence in more than 85 countries and regions.
