# Making a bed, arranging pillows: in Singapore, hotel staff will film their movements for humanoids

> Singapore-based YYForce says it has equipped itself with 20 wearable camera systems to record housekeeping teams at the Novotel Singapore on Stevens, according to the Korean site Robot Newspaper (로봇신문).

Each system pairs a head-mounted camera, which films the scene from the employee's point of view, with a wrist-mounted camera, which films working movements up close.

The first recordings will cover specific tasks: the order in which a bed is made, the handling of linen and the arrangement of pillows. Towel folding and some cleaning work are also planned.

YYForce, which offers workforce, facilities management and commercial robot services, says the 20 systems are meant to support its humanoid robot development programme.

For now, the aim is to collect data and assess it. According to Robot Newspaper, turning these human demonstrations into real robot capabilities will still require data processing, adaptation to the target hardware and tests in a controlled environment.

YYForce chief executive Mike Fu presents the project as a way to document the real work of housekeeping teams and to assess how the footage can be used to train humanoids.
