# In Shanghai, Unitree G1 humanoids drop the show to tighten screws and move parcels

> At the industrial fair in Shanghai in October, humanoid robot makers showed repeated production tasks rather than spectacular demonstrations, Huxiu reports, as picked up by MyDrivers.

In hall 8.1H, two Unitree G1 robots occupied a stand of about 30 square metres. One picked up parcels and placed them at a given spot. The other tightened screws with an electric screwdriver.

Elite had set up an optical module production station in the hall. Five dual-arm robots, controlled by a single AI model, aligned and inserted modules there. The company says the solution is already deployed on production lines, notably in optical communications.
