Definition
Additional training of an already pretrained model, on a smaller dataset specific to a task or to a robot. It avoids starting from scratch: the model keeps what it learned from large volumes of data and adapts to the new case. It is the usual method for adapting a vision-language-action model to a task or a robot it does not know.
