Privacy
Principle
Vuntum collects the minimum. No advertising tracker, no third-party audience measurement, no social network loaded by default. Fonts are hosted by us: displaying a page sends no request to a third party. The publisher and the host are named in the legal notice; the site’s compliance status is published on the accessibility page.
Processing activities
| Processing | Data | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reporting form | Message, page concerned, email if provided | Legitimate interest (quality of information) | 12 months |
| Administration accounts | Email, display name, password hash, second factor | Performance of the service | Lifetime of the account + 3 months |
| Technical logs | Truncated IP address, timestamp, page requested | Legitimate interest (security) | 30 days |
| Audience measurement | Page views per page and per day, number of visitors for the day, domain of the site you came from. Nothing makes it possible to recognise you. | Legitimate interest (knowing which pages are read) | 25 months at most |
| Video consent | Preference stored in your browser | Consent | Until withdrawn |
Audience measurement
The site counts its own page views, with no cookie, no script in the page and no third-party service. To count a visitor only once a day, your address and your browser’s name are mixed with a code drawn at random each day, then forgotten at the end of the day: they are never written to disk. Only totals are kept. Crawlers and the administration are not counted. To object, turn on “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” in your browser, or write to contact@vuntum.com. This measurement falls under the CNIL’s consent exemption, so there is no banner to accept.
Cookies
No non-essential cookie is set. The only choice you are asked to make concerns the loading of a video hosted by a third party: until you accept it, no request is sent to the platform, not even for the thumbnail. You can withdraw your choice at any time.
Your rights
The rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction are exercised by writing to contact@vuntum.com. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.
