Wheeled mobile robot
- In French:
- Robot mobile à roues
Definition
A robot that moves on wheels. An omnidirectional robot can set off in any direction without turning first, thanks to special wheels, whereas a nonholonomic robot, like a car, cannot slide sideways and has to manoeuvre. This difference changes how its movements are planned and controlled.
