CHiP, WowWee's robot dog, fetches the ball, follows you and greets you at the door

Thanks to a connected wristband worn by its owner, CHiP recognises its owner, follows them and greets them at the door. According to WowWee, it even pesters them at mealtimes or playtime.

It also plays fetch. Its sensors spot a connected ball, and its four omnidirectional wheels let it chase the ball and bring it back, the manufacturer says.

When its battery runs low, CHiP returns by itself to its basket, a charging base supplied with the robot.

WowWee says commands from the wristband take priority over its obstacle-avoidance sensors, and advises playing in a clear space. Owners say their children had fun running around the table, chased by the robot.

CHiP remains an indoor dog. According to WowWee, its wheels cope with most floors in the home: short-pile carpet, parquet and slippery tiles.
