MiP, WowWee's little robot that speaks “MiPish” and replays up to 50 gestures, according to the manufacturer
WowWee presents MiP as a small autonomous robot balanced on two wheels, more than a simple toy. It can be controlled with a wave of the hand or from a smartphone app.

According to WowWee, MiP speaks its own language, “MiPish”, a mix of its name and gibberish. From the app, you can give it “mood chips” to see how far its quirkiness goes.
The robot responds to gestures through sensors in its eyes: a hand movement to the left, right, forward or back is enough to steer it.
You can also dictate a sequence of gestures. Clap twice, or tap its head twice, and it replays the sequence. According to the manufacturer, it remembers up to 50 in a row.
Fitted with its tray, MiP can carry its own weight, roughly that of a soda can, WowWee says.
Left in free exploration, it steers around obstacles on its own. It does not detect drops, however, and the manufacturer recommends watching it near tables and stairs.
