Definition
Artificial intelligence given a body, a real robot or a simulated agent, which perceives its environment and acts on it rather than only processing text or images. Its research themes cover perception, interaction with objects, decision-making and the transition from simulation to the real world. Large multimodal models and world models occupy a growing place in it.
