Robot foundation model
- In French:
- Modèle de fondation robotique
Definition
A model pretrained on large volumes of data, including robot data, and designed to serve as a base for many tasks and several types of robot rather than for a single application. It is also called a generalist policy. The main obstacles remain the scarcity of robot data, safety guarantees and real-time execution.
