Astribot raises one billion yuan and is worth fifteen billion, despite more cautious investors
The Shenzhen robot maker announced a new funding round on 13 October, four months after the previous one, Chinese outlet TMTPost reports.
According to the company's announcement, the round totals one billion yuan. The post-money valuation stands at fifteen billion yuan. The company is known in Chinese as 星尘智能.
In early June, the company had already closed a Series B of more than one billion yuan, which put its valuation above ten billion yuan.
On 9 July, its production and supply centre in Wuxi came into service and the first T1 humanoid came off the line. According to the company, its two ranges, S and T, now have a capacity of around ten thousand units.
The funding arrives at an awkward moment. According to TMTPost, investors are growing more cautious about embodied AI, and several funds are sharply limiting new commitments.
Update, 17 October: according to the outlet, Astribot has closed 4 funding rounds in about six months, and its valuation has risen by five billion yuan in three months. TMTPost also says the company has won several orders of around a thousand robots each since 2025, in retail, entertainment and logistics.
