Roomba Plus 515 Combo or Qrevo Curv 2 Flow: five criteria compared, according to the manufacturers

Mapping

The Roomba Plus 515 Combo maps using LiDAR. On iRobot's US page, the manufacturer writes that "ClearView™ LiDAR scans your home to create up to 3 maps". According to us.roborock.com, the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow also maps using LiDAR: its "LiDAR Navigation System scans and creates detailed maps in real time". These are manufacturer claims, and we found no sourced value for the number of maps on the Roborock.

LiDAR

Both manufacturers state that their model has a LiDAR. According to iRobot, the Roomba navigates with a LiDAR called ClearView™ ("Navigates with ClearView™ LiDAR"), in the US market. Roborock, for its part, mentions a "PreciSense® LiDAR Navigation System" on us.roborock.com. The trade names differ, but each manufacturer claims the presence of a LiDAR.

Camera

For the Roomba Plus 515 Combo, we found no sourced value: not found. For the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, Roborock states on us.roborock.com that it has "an RGB camera". The absence of a value for iRobot in our database says nothing about whether this model has a camera.

Voice assistants

According to iRobot, the Roomba Plus 515 Combo works with Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant, in the US market. According to us.roborock.com, the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow works with Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri Shortcuts and Google Home. The labels differ (Siri / Apple Siri Shortcuts, Google Assistant / Google Home) and are given here as published.

Availability

On iRobot's US page, the Roomba Plus 515 Combo is listed as "In Stock" in the US market. For the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, Roborock Japan announces that it is going on sale ("発売します") as an Amazon exclusive from 28 April 2026, in the Japanese market. The two statements relate to different markets, the United States and Japan, and cannot be compared directly. Both were read on 2 October 2026.
