DEEBOT X2 OMNI: ECOVACS says its square robot vacuum gets 30 mm closer to corners
On its official page, ECOVACS presents this robot that vacuums and mops floors, while also stating that the model has been withdrawn from sale.
Its square shape is meant to help it clean right up to the edges. According to ECOVACS, each mop pad reaches 30 mm closer to corners.
At 32 cm in diameter and 9.5 cm high, it is low enough to pass under sofas and beds, the manufacturer says.
To find its way around, it carries a dual-laser LiDAR that, according to ECOVACS, detects objects at a distance of 10 m with a 210-degree field of view.
Its AI sensor lets it avoid obstacles, according to the page, including the household pet and its food bowl.
According to ECOVACS, its docking station handles mop washing with hot water, automatic emptying, drying and self-maintenance.
