iRobot's Roomba i7+ empties its own bin and stores up to 10 maps, according to the manufacturer
Made by the American company iRobot, the Roomba i7+ learns the layout of a home and cleans the room it is told to, including by voice command.
When cleaning is finished, the robot empties its own dust bin into its charging station, the Clean Base. According to iRobot, the station holds the equivalent of 30 bins of dirt, enough to forget about the vacuum for weeks.
The Roomba i7+ stores up to 10 different maps, the manufacturer says. You can carry it to another floor or another house: it recognises where it is and cleans as instructed.
It also responds to the voice assistants from Amazon and Google. Ask Alexa to clean the kitchen, or Google the living room, and the robot finds its own way to the room.
iRobot's page announced the vacuum with its station from 949 dollars in the United States and Canada, sold on the brand's website.
