Manufacturer Sharpa presents the D01 as a robot with dexterous hands that can be operated remotely, designed for complex real-world tasks.
The D01 is covered in a four-layer tactile electronic skin. According to Sharpa, it is sensitive enough to feel the brush of a feather.
The robot combines Sharpa's Wave hand, two arms articulated like a human's, and a built-in teleoperation system that allows it to be operated remotely.
According to the manufacturer's data sheet, each arm can carry 5 kg.
