From 2 to 3 November, 6 G2 robots are due to work in a convenience store, filmed live without a break for 24 hours. The company describes the exercise as a “tenure examination” in four shifts: the lunchtime rush, the evening rush, the night watch and breakfast preparation.

According to AgiBot, the robots will have to stock shelves, replenish goods, tidy up, prepare hot meals, handle waste, make coffee and greet customers, from 10 am to 10 am the next day.

The “AI WAVE” series comprises seven releases: a dataset, an operating platform, a robot, a framework for software agents, a simulation platform, a large foundation model and a method for collective learning between robots.

On 26 October, AgiBot is due to present the G2 Max, an industrial robot for heavy loads. The company says it is also capable of sub-millimetre precision work.
