China's Zhiyuan, which claims 5,100 robots delivered in 2025, has joined 47 funding rounds
On 20 October, the Chinese robot maker took part in the funding round of chip start-up 芯际无限, 财能圈 reports in an article published by TMTPost.
The Pre-A round also includes the Anhui provincial automotive innovation centre, Guoyuan and Hefei Baohe Chuangtou. The amount has not been made public.
According to data picked up by the outlet 科创板日报, Zhiyuan appeared as an investor in 47 financing deals between August 2024 and October 2026. They mostly involve young, small companies that hold key upstream positions in Zhiyuan's complete robots. The figure counts deals, not companies: several rounds for the same firm are counted separately.
According to the article, 芯际无限 has already delivered more than one million of its microcontrollers for motor control. Its high-end V1000 chip, designed for 1,000 TOPS of computing power, is only at the stage of etching the first test samples and must still pass several steps before mass production.
In February 2026, Zhiyuan also took part in the raise of more than eight hundred million yuan by chip maker 辉羲智能. According to the published information, with no source given, the company accounted for about a fifth of global shipments of high-compute chips for robots in the first half. That would make it second in the world, behind Nvidia.
On production, Deng Taihua, who runs Zhiyuan, announced in April, at the company's partner conference, more than 5,100 robots delivered in 2025. He says this is the top position worldwide.
