Definition
An industrial robot designed to share a workspace with people, without the protective enclosure that usually surrounds industrial robots. The ISO/TS 15066 specification complements the ISO 10218 standards and describes four collaboration modes: safety-rated monitored stop, hand guiding, speed and separation monitoring, and power and force limiting. Only the last mode allows contact between the robot and the person.
