Definition
The maximum mass a robot arm can carry at its wrist. It includes the tool fixed to the wrist and its mount, not only the object handled: a heavy gripper reduces by as much the mass of object that can be moved. The distance between the load and the wrist also matters, because the torque demanded of the joints increases with it.
