Inovance launches liquid-cooled wheeled humanoid that can work 24 hours without a break
China's Inovance has put a wheeled humanoid robot on the market, aimed according to the company at makers of high-quality finished products, Korean site Robot Newspaper reports.
The liquid cooling circuit is built into the onboard Thor chip. According to Robot Newspaper, it lets the robot run at full power for long periods above 40 °C and deliver 2,070 TOPS of computing without the limits of air cooling.
Centralised heat dissipation gives it an IP54 rating against dust, water splashes and oil spray. Smaller fans keep noise below 60 dB, making work quieter alongside operators.
The end effector is modular: a gripper, robotic hand, pneumatic gripper or suction cup can be swapped depending on the workstation.
The robot lasts up to 10 hours on one charge. Two hot-swappable battery modules allow it to run for 24 hours without interruption.
