Overview

The Booster T1 is a humanoid robot designed by Booster Robotics. It is used for research and education, with programming among its stated uses.

According to the manufacturer, the robot weighs around 30 kg. It is fitted with a camera and a microphone. For onboard computing, the manufacturer lists an Nvidia AGX Orin GPU, quoted at 200 TOPS of artificial intelligence performance, without specifying which version it applies to. The Standard and Customized versions are each given an Intel i7 1370p CPU, again according to the manufacturer.

On the software side, the manufacturer offers a public SDK, distributed as a PyPI package, and an official SDK called boosteros. It also announces a C++ API and a Python API.

According to the manufacturer, a repository contains reinforcement learning tasks for Isaac Lab, with BeyondMimic motion tracking, and the robot can be simulated in Isaac Sim. The URDF and XML 3D model files are published in the Booster Assets repository. The manufacturer does not name the simulator this model is intended for.

Among similar robots, the Unitree G1 is listed at 35 kg, against around 30 kg according to the manufacturer for the Booster T1. It also has a camera and a microphone, and a comparison between Booster T1 and Unitree G1 is available. The AGIBOT X2 is also listed at 35 kg, with a microphone. The Unitree H1 relies on the official SDK Unitree SDK2, whereas the Booster T1 uses boosteros.
